Did you know the first ever Cinnabon was located in Seattle, WA?! It all started with a father-son duo that was on a mission to create the perfect homemade Cinnamon Roll. I think it’s safe to say they succeeded. I am a sucker for “firsts,” especially when it comes to food places as delicious as Cinnabon, so we just HAD to stop. Unfortunately, the original store is no longer present, but I still wanted to have Cinnabon’s in the city they originated in!
It worked out perfectly because we hit the mall in Seattle right before we were about to road-trip to Portland, OR, so we stalked up on some yummy, ooey, gooey treats for our ride. I was with my guy friend Benni, so we each ordered an original Cinnabon and then we split the Cinnabon Mini’s, a Churro Frosted Sandwich, and a Mocha Iced Coffee.
The Original Cinnabon’s never disappoint and are absolutely DELICIOUS. They are so warm and uplifting and bring you back to happier days as a child at Grandma’s House. We even found a nice place to pull over and enjoy with a view on our road trip.
The Cinnabon minis are perfect if you have a smaller appetite like me and just want just a little escape of something you crave an deserve.
The Mocha Iced Coffee tasted better than any coffee I’ve had before (I’m sure the whipped cream helped). It honestly tasted like delicious Mocha, Chocolate Milk. SO. GOOD.
We had so many treats that we even had one leftover treat for the next morning when we woke up in Oregon at The Vintages Trailer Resort! It happened to be my personal favorite and newest item on the menu—the Churro Frosted Sandwich. HOLY MOLY was this good. I mean it’s literally two of my favorite things.. Churros and Frosting. How can you go wrong with that?? I was kicking myself for not getting more of them. Just try telling me your mouth isn’t watering thinking about it. You can find your nearest Cinnabon here!
