One of the best parts about entering the blogging world these past few months has been all the wonderful people I meet along the way. I have followed a few Dallas based bloggers and photographers for a while, so when I found out I had to go to Dallas for work last month, I reached out to the girls and asked if they’d want to meet up for coffee.
It was great getting to know these girls in person after following them for so many months. It’s funny how everyone’s personality truly comes out through their blog. It’s almost scary how well you can get to know someone through social media. We had coffee together that afternoon, and I felt like I had known all of them for years! They took me to one of their favorite coffee shops, Magnolias Sous le Pont. They informed me that it is a very well known place for Dallas based bloggers and that the blue wall outside is a popular spot for photo ops. This place was SO cute inside and out!
We had so much fun together we ended up meeting up the next night for drinks too! We went to a place called The Grove at Harwood, which you may have seen in my previous post about the dress I wore there. This little oasis has such a fun and beachy vibe for being smack dab in the middle of a city. They have space to setup bocce ball, volleyball, or just a little picnic to snack and drink the day away.
Here, we met up with another girl Kendra, who has made personalized hats and tumblers for some of the bachelorette parties I have planned. She even brought us some hats and tumblers to take home, so we of course had to take photos with them while enjoying some glasses of Champagne! If you want to check out her Etsy shop, I’ve linked it here! The Grove at Harwood is a great place to check out if you are in Dallas for a girls weekend and wanting some to catch some rays while sipping on some afternoon cocktails.
Outfit Details
I bought this white, floral dress from a local store in Chicago, Akira, last spring, so unfortunately it’s sold out. However, I found many similar options on Showpo a couple days ago and have linked them all in my previous post here.
My top that I wore at Magnolias is from Zara and it’s under $30! It’s perfect to wear casually with jeans or dress it up with leather leggings. I’ve linked it here!
