Top 3 Girly Places in Chicago

Happy Hour at Hampton Social– This place is ADORABLE!  It reminds me so much of home in the Northeast and has such a cute, girly vibe to it.  Although, Hampton Social really reminds me of New England, it is designed to have a feel of The Hamptons in New York, which I can totally see as well.  They serve some incredible lobster dishes (and this is coming from a Maine Lobster snob) including two types of Lobster Rolls and Lobster Pizza!  They also have rosé specials and offer frosé, aka every girl’s Happy Hour Dream.  As if the food, drinks and impeccable ambiance weren’t enough, they even have live music on Fridays after work.  This place gives you all those warm, fuzzy, happy feelings of summer all year round and is the perfect place to grab drinks with your girls on any afternoon!

Mani/Pedis at Polish and Pour- This is my absolute favorite place to go for a mani/pedi.  First off, they have a full bar to order drinks from while you relax in the pedi chair with your friends.  My friends and I love to come here on Saturday and Sunday mornings for a morning mimosa while we get pampered.  Secondly, they play Sex and the City reruns all day, every day, which makes me want to sit there and drink my mimosas all day, every day. Honestly, can you think of a better combo?  Foot massages, mimosas, Sex and the City?  Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Afternoon Tea at The Allis– The Allis is the restaurant/lounge in the ever so trendy Soho House Chicago.  The Soho House is a member only club, but the Allis is open to the public, and they do an outstanding Afternoon Tea daily from 2:30 to 5:00.  Afternoon Tea is such a different girly activity for us Americans, and it is so fun to mix it up!  My girls and I went to this on a Sunday afternoon and said we felt like little kids again throwing a tea party.  Another one of my friends said it reminded her of her days in London, having tea and crumpets with the locals.  Whatever it reminds you of, Afternoon Tea is always a good idea!
