I bought this adorable white, floral maxi dress from a local Chicago shop, Akira, in the spring and totally forgot about it until the end of August!  Don’t you hate that??  When you’re actually TOO prepared (for once), buy things too early and then forget about them!  So, unfortunately I didn’t get much wear out of this dress this summer, but it’s still PERFECT for a beach vacation!  Since I bought this so long ago, it’s sadly sold out now, but I found some similar ones from Showpo here , here, here AND here!

I ended up wearing this when I was in Dallas a couple weeks ago with some girlfriends.  As you know, there aren’t any beaches in Dallas, but we went to The Grove at Harwood for some drinks and felt like we were on a beach bar with their sandy floor and fruity drinks!

Also, I absolutely loveeee this hat!  One of the girls I met with in Dallas makes them!  The best part is, she can make them with any saying you’d like!  Check out her etsy shop here to order a personalized hat of your own!
